Peter Hsu, born in New York City but raised in Los Angeles has been involved in various martial arts for over 15 years. He’s had the great opportunity to train with many experts in the field of JKD, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Balintawak Kali, and of course Gary Lam/Wong Shun Leung Wing Chun. Having the fortunate experience to meet Sifu Lam in Monterey Park, California Peter decided to train Wing Chun in both groups and private lessons full time until given formal consent to open up his own Wing Chun training studio in Shanghai, China.

Peter’s Wing Chun lineage comes from Yip Man (業問) –> Wong Shun Leung (黃淳樑) –> Gary Lam (林文学) –> Peter Hsu (徐佩德) .

Students share information and train in a friendly atmosphere without their egos getting in the way. The goal is to give students a relaxed, controlled environment of what may be expected in real confrontations.
